Ok, I'm a Total Slacker
It's been forever since I posted, So I apologize for my slackerness.
Our baby Ginger is finally done with her, um, season. Oscar did great up until Thursday the 8th. Then, all hell broke loose. He couldn't eat, sleep, or walk without trying to hump something for 5 days. Then, just like a switch, it was gone. THANK GOD! Todd and I both got full monty's from him and we are both going to start therapy to deal with the trauma.
We went to the Bob Schneider show at the Fine Line last Friday and volunteered at the Merchandise Booth, which was kinda fun, so we'll probably do that again next time Bob comes through. Drunk people are funny. Stupid, but funny in small doses.
Thanksgiving came to our house last Sunday. Todd wanted turkey, so I made turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, yams, green beans, and a pumpkin mousse torte. Yes, you may call me the goddess of the kitchen. We had a some of Todd's family over...(hey, they are my family, too, now!) and we all pigged out. The kids ran around and raised hell, so I think it worked out for everyone. We had leftovers last night after I made about 10 more cups of gravy. Sheesh, I swear Todd would eat anything if it was drowned in homemade turkey gravy. I deserve the goddess of gravy award, too. GODDESS!!!!
Todd and Jack are going to be doing Cub Scouts this year. Jack specifically asked Todd to take him, isn't that sweet? Awwww, I think I'm getting a cavity. I think he just wants Todd to help him build a car (not a matchbox, not a soapbox...dang it! It's on the tip of my tongue....um......er....pinewood derby car!!! Sorry, blonde moment.) that wins the races this spring. Todd, being the man he is, will probably spend weeks researching the proper way to build the winning race car. Obsession can be good at times, right?
Ok, back to work...I'll post some funny pictures once I find them on the computer. I have a great one of me diapering my doggie. I always wanted a baby girl, just didn't realize she'd be so fuzzy.
